Cricketing trends in twitter today

Cricketing trends in twitter today saw tweets coming in from all over the world. It was a busy day as far as cricketing action was concerned. Courtesy Virat Kohli’s terrific century India continued their dominance against England in the 4th Test. The Indian captain was congratulated by cricketers from all over the world which was one of the biggest talk today. Tom Moody, VVS Laxman, Michael Vaughn and others wished the modern legend with Vaughn stating Kohli was someone out of this world.

Former Sri Lankan captain Sanath Jayasuriya congratulated his son for excelling in school cricket while another former cricketer Damien Martyn celebrated his son’s birthday. Kumar Sangakkara who was busy traveling thanked fly Sri Lanka for their hospitality. Adam Gilchrist expressed his excitement of being a part of BBL.

India head coach Anil Kumble urged people to treat everyone on par on Human Rights Day. While James Taylor praised England captain Alastair Cook for bowling Joe Root more, VVS Laxman appreciated Adil Rashid for his brilliant bowling.

It was the birthday of Indian pacer Dhawal Kulkarni and Rohit Sharma wished him. Virender Sehwag who had been in the limelight for his hilarious tweets was officially crowned the “King of Twitter” and former India Women’s captain Anjum Chopra praised the current Women’s team captain Harmanpreet Kaur on her heroics.
