The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. On Wednesday, December 3, India beat Australia by 13 runs in the third and final ODI at the Manuka Oval in Canberra. The game right down to the wire, but the Men in Blue held their nerve to emerge victorious. The Aussies couldn’t end the series on a high, but Aaron Finch, their captain, was over the moon. He posted a picture where his team was holding the trophy happily. He will now be up against India in the T20I series that gets underway on December 4.
Yuzvendra Chahal posted a picture alongside Aussie spinner Adam Zampa. Both the tweakers played together for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League. Chahal didn’t have great outings in the ODI series, leaking runs at an alarming rate. Mitchell Starc showed off his new jersey and shoes for the upcoming T20I series. Starc didn’t play the last ODI due to injury.
