The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Mithali Raj, the India women’s legend, posted an adorable picture along with her brother. Brendon McCullum, the former New Zealand cricketer, posted a photo where his daily exercise routine was mentioned. Kainat Imtiaz, the Pakistan women’s cricketer, posted a collage of three pictures where she gave cute expressions. In the meantime, India got ready for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call of lighting candles. On April 3, the PM asked the citizens of India to switch off lights and then use torchlight, candles to thank the doctors for their support in crisis.
In India, the coronavirus pandemic has accounted for the lives of 77 and the numbers are expected to go up even further. The likes of Suresh Raina, Sachin Tendulkar, Ravi Shastri and many others supported the PM’s call at PM on Sunday. Kedar Jadhav posted video where he was getting for the night. Harbhajan Singh and his wife Geeta Basra has pledged to serve 5000 underprivileged families in Jalandhar amidst the wrath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mayank Agarwal posted picture along with his father and called him his inspiration. England all-rounder Ravi Bopara shared a video where the non-striker tripped over while completing a run at the non-striker’s end. Naseem Shah, the young Pakistan fast bowler, uploaded his new profile picture. In February, Shah became the youngest to get a Test hat-trick against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi. Saurashtra captain Jaydev Unadkat had a tough time while cutting beans.
