The cricketing trends on the social media mostly revolved around the third day’s play of England’s Test match against India at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground. James Anderson has been on fire having picked up a five-wicket haul in the first innings. Dale Steyn, the South African fast-bowler, put forth the English pacer’s approach while bowling and also praised him for his stupendous performance.
Former cricketer Michael Vaughan believed England should’ve declared after amassing a massive lead. Aakash Chopra feels only a miracle can save India for a defeat in the second Test. In the meantime, Russel Arnold remembered Sri Lanka’s last Test at Lord’s back in 2014 where the team, captained by Angelo Mathews denied the Three Lions a victory at the Home of Cricket.
Darren Sammy is playing for the St Lucia Stars in the Caribbean Premier League and he posted a picture with two of his teammates. Rishabh Pant, who is with the Indian team, shared a picture along with his sister and mother. Kevin Pietersen uploaded a picture, enjoying the ambience at the beach in the morning.
Yusuf Pathan shared some pictures where he was seen honing his skills with the willow. Harbhajan Singh, who is currently serving a commentary stint with BBC, reckons that a person can’t grow if he/she considers himself/herself right every other time.

I love how quick Jimmy is between deliveries. No stares, no words, no fuss. Gets back to his mark, bowls with intent, intelligence and great energy.
Man knows what he wants (wkts) and most of all, he knows how to get them.
