As the world has come to a halt due to COVID-19 outbreak, all cricketers are left with no choice but to spend their quarantine time with their family. While being at home, few cricketers are resorting to social media and few are indulging in movies and series to kill their idle time.
India international Ajinkya Rahana also shared on Twitter that he has been spending his quarantine time while watching Michael Jordan’s ‘The Last Dance’. The right-hander even asked for suggestions for various sports documentaries.
Meanwhile, former India coach Greg Chappell, in a recent interview revealed that his role was instrumental in shaping up MS Dhoni’s finishing skills. However, off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who is known for his fiery attitude, hit back at Chappell’s comment and added that worst days of Indian cricket were during the Australian coach’s tenure. Yuvraj also joined the fun and took a dig at Chappell’s comment.
Wishes poured in for Babar Azam after he was announced as Pakistan’s new ODI skipper. Former Pakistan batsman Mohammad Yousuf also joined the bandwagon and extended wishes to Babar. According to Yousuf, Babar will prove himself as captain just like he has proved himself as a world-class player.
Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina hogged the limelight a few days ago for building a combined MI-CSK squad. However, one name which they missed in the playing XI was of bowling maestro Lasith Malinga.
Taking Malinga’s stupendous record into consideration, many fans were left stunned by Rohit’s decision to exclude Malinga’s name from the combined XI. However, Rohit accepted his mistake and tweeted that he completely missed out the Sri Lankan pacer’s name while forming the combined XI.
