Cricketing Trends on Social Media today

The coronavirus outbreak has taken over 1.5 lakh lives in the world and most countries are currently under lockdown to fight against the pandemic. To battle the outbreak of COVID-19, the lockdown in India has also been extended until May 3.

In such a critical situation, many prominent names have come forward and donated to aid in the battle against the pandemic. One such name is Yuvraj Singh, who donated Rs 50 lakh to the PM CARES Relief fund earlier this month. The all-rounder continued his contribution by donating 15000 N95 masks to the healthcare workers in Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has appreciated Yuvraj Singh for his generous donation to the state during these tough times.

During their quarantine time, cricketers are resorting to indoor training to keep themselves at the time of the pandemic. However, Pakistan’s Sohaib Malik had to suffer from an accident during his fitness test. The glass from the table fell down and injured his knee in the process.

Joining the trend of conducting Twitter Question and Answer sessions, Ravichandran Ashwin also interacted with his fans on the social media website. He answered a variety of questions including his food choices, quarantine life and education.

Meanwhile, birthday wishes poured in for KL Rahul, who celebrated his 28th birthday on Saturday. Many members of the cricketing fraternity including Irfan Pathan, Ravi Shastri, Hardik Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Hardik Pandya extended wishes to the Karnataka batsman.
