Cricketing Trends on Social Media today

India are set to lock horns with Australia in the much-anticipated series decider at Bengaluru on Sunday. Ahead of the clash, India’s Kuldeep Yadav shared a picture with KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who is known for his brilliant fielding ability, posted a video where he can be seen diving for a catch.

As Vinod Kambli celebrated his 48th birthday today, ICC extended wishes to the left-handed batsmen. The former India batsman had an illustrious First-class career, scoring almost 10,000 runs in 120 matches. Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar also wished the Indian Army personnel and their families a happy Army Day. Tendulkar also extended birthday wishes to long-time friend Vinod Kambli. Zimbabwe, who are embarking a new journey in Test cricket against Sri Lanka, also shared a video ahead of the match.

‘Chahal TV’ has gained a lot of popularity due to its humour and insights of the Indian cricket team. However, in the absence of Yuzvendra Chahal, Shikhar Dhawan was seen interviewing KL Rahul as the two openers had a candid conversation in the video shared by BCCI.

Many personalities from the cricketing fraternity condoled the demise of Bapu Nadkarni. Former Indian bowler Rameshchandra Gangaram ‘Bapu’ Nadkarni passed away on Saturday at the age of 86. He played a total of 41 Test matches for his country in the 1950s and 1960s and was one of the most economical bowlers of his time.
