The cricketing trends on social media revolved around the India-Pakistan World Cup game and also some nostalgic moments. ICC posted a picture of all nine captains posing with the World Cup back in 1992, which was clicked exactly on 22nd February back in that year. It sent fans into nostalgia and various former cricketers tweeted their elation watching that picture.

One of the burning questions in the world of cricket is whether or not India should play Pakistan in the World Cup. After the recent cowardly Pulwama attacks which killed over 40 CRPF Jawans, the Indian government is cutting ties with their neighbours in every aspect possible. BCCI is also contemplating to forfeit their game against Pakistan, which would come at an expense of two valuable points for India.

Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar came out with a tweet saying he would hate to give away two points without playing the game and suggested cricket should not be a victim of all the chaos happening around. In the meantime, even BCCI will have to suffer great consequences as per reports in various media sources given they are deciding to forfeit their encounter against Pakistan.

One of the fastest, if not the fastest bowler of all time, Shaun Tait was celebrating his 36th birthday on Friday. The Aussie superstar was a scary sight for many batsmen during his prime time and is still hailed as one of the finest talents produced in their country.
