The cricketing trends on social media today revolved around the current and former cricketers posting throwback pictures amid lockdown. The Coronavirus pandemic continues to affect the human lives and with the global cases going beyond 3 million, there is no idea when cricketing action will resume in the near future. This is the reason, the likes of Irfan Pathan and Damien Fleming posted throwback videos of matches which they were part of.
Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar turned 47 on April 24 and even after four days, he was busy responding to the messages he received on the occasion. Siddharth Kaul was delighted that he got a reply from the master blaster and felt that he should frame the tweet. Sachin and Irfan were also involved in a friendly conversation where the duo planned to have Biryani together once the lockdown ends.
Ravindra Jadeja posted a video of the game Gujarat Lions and the Mumbai Indians where he ran out a MI batsman with a direct hit and urged the fans and followers in a unique way to stay at home amid the Coronavirus pandemic and also asked them to stay safe. With no cricketing action in progress, India fast bowler Umesh Yadav is missing bowling at full throttle in the nets and on the field and wants to return to the 22 yards soon.
