Cricketing trends in social media today saw tweets coming from all around the globe. The tweets were mostly centric towards the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 2017 edition of the IPL got underway with the Sunrisers Hyderabad taking on the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the season opener at Hyderabad. The Sunrisers Hyderabad beat the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the match and that rightly showed why the defending champions are such a settled side.

Kevin Pietersen loved his first stint at the IPL commentary and is looking forward to next match at Pune. Australian women’s team cricketer Lisa Sthalekar was also happy to reach just in time for the match. Sunrisers Hyderabad mentor VVS Laxman was delighted to have started on a winning note and congratulated the boys.
