Humiliation would be a smaller word for what Pakistan handed over India in the Champions Trophy final as they lifted the title with a huge 180-run win over their rivals. After being put to bat first, Pakistan took over the Indians right from the start with the openers Fakhar Zaman and Azhar Ali scoring quick runs at the top of the order.

Zaman scored a century while a quick fifty from Mohammad Hafeez powered their total to 338/4. Mohammad Amir ripped through the top order by removing India’s in-form top 3 to set up the game for his side. Hardik Pandya’s blitz helped India to score at least 153 before getting bowled out.
