England became the first team to make it to the semis of the 2017 Champions Trophy after defeating New Zealand in their 2nd game by a huge margin of 87 runs. They posted yet another 300+ total with help of fifties from Alex Hales, Joe Root and Jos Buttler. In the chase, New Zealand looked like cruising at a stage but things went upside down after Kane Williamson’s wicket like in their previous game.
