Windies all-round cricketer Darren Sammy is an active participant on the social media platforms- Twitter and Instagram. On a number of instances, he has been opining on various topics. He hasn’t donned the national colours ever since winning the 2016 World T20 in India. A long-lasting tussle is currently taking place between the Windies cricketers the country’s cricket board.

Even after the victorious campaign, he slammed the board. Sammy is currently 34-years old and would be 35 in a couple of months’ time. Hence, chances of him taking part for the Caribbean team looks no less than bleak. The cricketer also had the privilege of winning the 2014 World T20 in Sri Lanka for the Windies. He previously announced his announcement from Test cricket.

Sammy makes Gilchrist aware

The St Lucia-born cricketer is currently one of the hottest prospects in T20 tournaments across the globe. He recently played for St Lucia Stars in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). In the meantime, the experienced campaigner noticed something fishy in former Australian cricketer Adam Gilchrist’s account. Like Sammy, even the Aussie stays on the social media.

He posted a screenshot of a message from Gilchrist’s account, which asked him to open a page. However, it mentioned that ‘Message hidden due to suspicious content’. Then he decided to send him a message, which read, “I think your account is hacked mate”. He did the same to make Gilchrist aware. The reply from the other side read, “No Problem,”

This isn’t the first time when an account of a cricketer got hacked. From the likes of Kuldeep Yadav, Shikhar Dhawan and Gautam Gambhir’s account were earlier hacked. Even the hackers didn’t spare the International Cricket Council (ICC).  Meanwhile, Sammy took to Twitter wrote, “I think @gilly381 account has been hacked,”
