The second leg of the Indian Premier League is all set to commence from September 19 in the UAE. Ahead of the tournament, the teams reached UAE and started their training. The players who were a part of the England-India Test series landed in UAE after the final Test was called off. However, amidst their quarantine, Mumbai Indians players Suryakumar Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah had a fun time.

The Mumbai Indians franchise took it to their official Twitter account to post a picture of Suryakumar Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah from their respective balconies. “अहो! तुमच्या कडे पाणी येतंय का? (Hey, do you have water at your place), Surya probably,” Mumbai Indians captioned the post. This interesting post fetched in a lot of humorous replies from Twitter users.

Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan were seen having a conversation with Suryakumar Yadav and Devisha Shetty just like neighbors in a colony, which attracted the fans of the franchise which seemed to have enjoyed the funny post.

Bumrah was the second-highest wicket-taker in the recently-concluded England-India Test series. In the fourth Test match at The Oval, he picked up wickets of Ollie Pope and reached the mark of 100 Test wickets. Suryakumar Yadav, on the other hand, travelled to England after playing the white-ball series against Sri Lanka. He did not feature in any of the Test matches.

CSK, MI to kickstart the UAE leg of IPL

Mumbai Indians will battle it out against their arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings in the opener of the UAE leg. The team usually begins slowly in the tournament before catching up with the winning momentum. However, now as the tournament is already mid-way, the team will be keen to start their campaign on a positive note.

In the first half of the IPL, Mumbai Indians secured victories in four matches from the seven that they played. They are currently placed at the fourth position of the points table with eight points to their account. Chennai Super Kings had a disappointed IPL 2020 but bounced back stronger in this season by exuding their dominance. They are currently placed on the second spot of the points table. Heading into this high-profile clash, both the teams will be keen to kick start the remainder of the IPL on a winning note.
