England sealed the series 2-0 with an emphatic win in the 4th ODI as they chased down a 300+ total in a rain affected game. Sri Lanka posted 305/5 in the restricted 42 overs after the overs had been reduced after a rain interval. England had big stands going on after the early loss of Moeen Ali who opened instead of injured Alex Hales. Jason Roy scored the bulk of the runs from one side as he scored 162, the 2nd highest individual score by an England batsman in ODIs. Thus his side chased down the adjusted 308-run target to register a 6 wickets win with 11 balls to spare. Here we look at all the stats and records recorded during the game.

2 – Jason Roy scoring two centuries in this series is only the 9th instance of an England player scoring two or more centuries in a bilateral ODI series, 5th instance for an opener.

74 – Balls taken by Jason Roy for his century in this game. This is the 2nd fastest century for an England opener in ODIs. Moeen Ali scored a 72-ball century in 2014 also vs Sri Lanka.
