England vs India, 1st ODI Stats Preview: Players records, head to head and approaching milestones

Having lost the fifth rescheduled Test, India made a comeback to defeat the English side by a 2-1 margin in the T20I series. Full-time skipper Rohit Sharma returned after having missed the Test due to COVID-19 and led the team to victories in the first and the second matches. The action now moves to the One-Day internationals where both the teams will compete in a three-match series beginning on July 12, 2022, at the Kennington Oval in London. England’s new white-ball skipper Jos Buttler managed only 22 runs while his opening partner Jason Roy mustered just 31 runs, which would worry the hosts going into the 50-overs games.
