2. Chacha Cricket – Chaudhry Abdul Jalil
Team Supporting: Pakistan

Every Pakistan match, the cameramen span and zoom on an elderly man with long silver threads of facial hair, dressed in a green kamees emulating the Pakistan national flag and chanting ‘Pakistan Zindabaad’ ‘Jeetay Ga Bhai Jeetay Ga, Pakistan Jeetay Ga!’ Born in Daska, Punjab; Abdul Jalil was a truck-driver who used to work in the UAE in early 1980s. He was first noticed, dressed in his same signature dress, in Sharjah Cup matches – a regular of the 1980-2000s. He would initiate patriotic chants and would shout all day long for his team. It took no time for him to get popular. He left his job and began to follow Pakistan cricket team full time. He says that his grey whiskers earned him the name Chacha which later turned into Chacha Cricket with time. He is currently sponsored by Pakistan Cricket Board and travels with the Pakistan Cricket Team.
Chacha Cricket is considered as the pioneer of ‘fancy cricket fans’ around the globe and is thought to be present at the ground, cheering, when Pakistan lifted the World T20 Trophy in 2009.
