The Kings faced the North Delhi Strikers in their first game and elected to bowl after winning the toss. The Strikers posted a total of 174 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Money Grewal and Gavnish Khurana took two wickets each for the Kings. Yash Dhull remained unbeaten on 101 runs off 56 deliveries. The Kings won the match by eight wickets in 17.3 overs. Dhull won the Player of the Match award.
The Tigers took on the Outer Delhi Warriors in their previous outing, where the Warriors elected to bowl after winning the toss. Shivam Gupta (89 off 53) and Himmat Singh (69 off 39) helped the Tigers post a total of 222 runs for the loss of seven wickets. The Warriors could make only 182 runs for the loss of four wickets and lost the match by 40 runs.
