Pakistan and England will play the final of the T20 World Cup 2022 on Sunday (November 13) at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne. Pakistan qualified for the final after defeating New Zealand in their semi-final game while England defeated India to book their place. Both the teams faced a lot of ups and downs during the group stage, however, they have managed to find the right balance now. Almost all the players from both sides have made significant contributions throughout the tournament and the teams will be hoping for a similar performance from them one last time. England have the opportunity to become the first team to hold the ODI as well as the T20 World Cup trophy at the same time. Both teams have already been crowned the champions in the previous editions of the tournament and have a chance to become two-time champions. Pakistan last featured in the final of this mega event back in 2009 when they defeated Sri Lanka. England, on the other hand, played the final during the 2016 edition of the tournament against West Indies.

Here are 3 players you can avoid in your Dream11 fantasy teams for the PAK vs ENG game:

1. Philip Salt

He came in playing 11 in place of Dawid Malan in the last game. Malan suffered a groin injury during the group-stage game against Sri Lanka. Salt made his T20I debut against West Indies this year and has played 12 matches so far. He has accumulated 235 runs so far at a strike rate of 164.33. However, most of his runs have come while opening the innings and he is surely not going to open the innings for the Three Lions at least in this game. The 26-year-old wicketkeeper-batter has scored over 3800 runs and has featured in over 160 T20 matches. However, he might not be the right pick in your fantasy team considering the form of other wicketkeepers.

2. Shan Masood

The 33-year-old left-handed opener has made 137 runs in six matches in the tournament so far and is the second-highest run-scorer for the team. However, in the last four matches, he has managed to score only 41 runs. In the last game, he batted in the number four position as Mohammad Haris was promoted in the batting order. Just like Salt, Masood has also scored over 3000 runs in T20 cricket, however, a maximum of those have come while opening the innings. He is still not used to playing in the middle order and hence, you can look at some other middle-order batters to pick in your fantasy team.

3. Chris Jordan

Chris Jordan replaced injured Mark Wood in the playing 11 in the semi-final game against India. He managed to pick up three wickets for 43 runs in his first game in this edition of the event. However, Wood participated in the net session on the eve of the final and might return to the squad. If that happens, Jordan will have to sit out again, hence, you can avoid him in your fantasy team.
