Allen yet to get in chance in IPL with RCB

Since Allen is a part of RCB squad which is being led by Kohli only, he might have got one of his bats during their time together in the IPL. The RCB franchise picked the young Kiwi player when Josh Philippe declared him unavailable for the 2021 season. Allen is yet to mark his debut for RCB and will be one of the players to look out for in the times to come. He rose to fame when he emerged as the leading run-scorer in New Zealand’s Super Smash T20 competition last season.

Allen scored 512 runs at an average of 56 while striking at an impressive 193. He played the first game in The Hundred against London Spirit where he could score only 11 runs but his team won by three wickets. Talking about Virat Kohli, he is currently up in England practicing for the five-match Test series against England which will commence on August 04. He missed out on the warm-up game in Durham as he was nursing his stiff back.
