Ever since the Indian selectors announced the World Cup squad, there has been so much debate over their credibility to succeed in the coveted tournament which begins on 30th May. Virat Kohli and his 14 men will face a stern task, but they definitely have it in them to win the tournament.

Despite being hailed as one of the favorites to win the tournament, there are certain loopholes in the side which might as well cost them big. While the number four position is a well-known conundrum, another underrated problem is the lack of assistance for Jasprit Bumrah in the death overs.

As it stands, all the Indian side can hope for these weaknesses to not get exposed in a crunch situation. Although there’s no immediate solution to these problems, we looked at some of the overseas cricketers who could walk into this current Indian side and make this unit a whole.

Here we bring you five foreign cricketers who can come into India’s side:

1. Eoin Morgan

England skipper Eoin Morgan has been a revelation for the side since the 2015 ICC World Cup. He turned an underperforming side into a dominant powerhouse in a span of three years and in the process, he also became England’s all time highest run scorer in ODIs.

In the Indian side, he could very easily fill the number 4 void considering his track record. He could also be a potential leader for the side, considering a fact that Virat Kohli has not been up to the mark as a captain. With MS Dhoni also in the side, Kohli will get another player who can give him inputs during the crunch moments in the game.
