Taruwar Kohli was a part of the 2008 U19 Indian team that lifted the World Cup under Virat Kohli’s captaincy. The Punjab all-rounder made his mark in the tournament with some good performances and was expected to churn out some big performances in the Indian Premier League as well.

Taruwar Kohli was signed up by the eventual champions in the first season, the Rajasthan Royals. He then moved to his hometown franchise Kings XI Punjab under the leadership of Yuvraj Singh. He was an important member of the Punjab Ranji side as well, but once he was getting sidelined, he moved to Mizoram for better opportunities.

He was Mizoram’s leading run-scorer with 373 runs in the last season of Ranji Trophy and also picked up the most wickets (8). The 30-year-old is extremely keen on earning an IPL contract with some good performances in the 2019-20 domestic season.
