Former WWE Champion wants to meet Virat Kohli and learn cricket from him

The popularity of Virat Kohli is very well known to cricket fans but this time the former WWE Champion Finn Balor has praised the Indian skipper. Kohli is known to be extremely aggressive on the field and likes the contest which gets the best out of him. He is never shy to speak a word or two the opposition in order to heat up the things in the middle. However, Balor also wants to meet Kohli and learn the game of cricket from him despite not knowing anything about it.

Balor is from Ireland and is aware that the country is doing very well in cricket. They also earned the Test status recently after consistently playing exceptionally well in the intercontinental cup arranged by ICC. He is all set to visit India in next month as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is hosting two live shows in Delhi at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium. He is likely to face Bray Wyatt on December 8 and Curtis Axel on December 9.

I would love to see India and Ireland play cricket

Finn Balor is aware that his country is doing well in cricket and despite not knowing the game well, expressed that he would love to see India and Ireland playing against each other. “I absolutely have no idea about the game, never seen much of cricket. I’ve seen a little bit on TV against Australia. I know Ireland have been doing quite well recently. I’ve been in Japan and America for the last 15 years, so it’s not something I’ve had much of an opportunity to witness. But obviously I’m proud and would love to see Ireland and India in the future,” he said in an interview to India Today.

He was also excited to meet Virat Kohli on his visit to India in December and hoped to learn cricket from him. “Yeah! I’d love to meet the captain of the Indian cricket team. I think he is kind of badass and everything. You know, I’d actually love to play a practice match and if he could show me a few tricks and teach me the laws of the game which I missed out on. I think it would be fun to have a couple of rounds with him,” Balor added.
