Virat Kohli has been the centre of attraction for the last one year or so for his stroke play and match-winning performances, but this time, it was because of his love towards football, he made it to the news.

A few weeks back, he had tweeted with a picture of him wearing the England jersey numbered 18. And he revealed on the social micro-blogging site that he would be cheering for Germany.

Reacting to the jersey number on Kohli’s back, Kroos promised to send him a special gift. The 26-year-old central midfielder was true to his word as he sent Kohli a signed jersey.

After receiving the special gift, Virat Kohli was quick to thank him back and also said that he will also be presenting one for him. He also wished him and Germany all the best for the quarters.

Virat Kohli will lead India in a four-match Test series against West Indies, with the first Test starting on July 21 at Antigua. India had announced the 17-man squad for the series. Uncapped Mumbai pacer Shardul Thakur will also fly with the team to the Caribbean Islands and Ajinkya Rahane has been promoted as the vice-captain of the side.

India under Kohli has won their last two Test series, beating Sri Lanka 2-0 at their home after more than two decades and followed it up with a series win against South Africa at home.
