‘Get well soon champion’ – Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh wish Rishabh Pant a speedy recovery after he tests positive for Covid-19

Rishabh Pant was last seen in action during the summit clash of the World Test Championship (WTC) that took place between India and New Zealand.

The biggest news that has dominated the cricket world today is the fact that Indian wicketkeeper and swashbuckling batsman Rishabh Pant has tested positive for Covid-19. Reports have also stated that since Pant has tested positive for Covid-19, he will not be joining the Indian side when all the other players rejoin back ahead of the Test series against England.

And, many wishes have been directed towards Pant ever since the news of him testing positive broke out. And, leading the wishes for Pant are two Indian cricketers, Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh.

Both Harbhajan Singh and Raina wished Rishabh Pant a speedy recovery. Harbhajan Singh even labeled Pant as a champion.

Rishabh Pant attended the Euro 2020 tournament at the Wembley Stadium

Rishabh Pant had attended the recently concluded Euro 2020 tournament at the Wembley Stadium. Apart from Pant, even Indian pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah had also attended the football tournament as well.

And, legendary Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was seen witnessing the 2021 Wimbledon Championships as well. India’s Head Coach Ravi Shastri also attended the Wimbledon Men’s singles final between Novak Djokovic and Matteo Berrettini.

After the news of Pant testing positive broke out, the Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Jay Shah reportedly wrote a letter to the Indian team regarding bio bubble protocols.

The Indian side will be involved in a grueling and exciting five-match Test series against the England side, that will kick off on 4th August 2021 at Nottingham. This Test series will be the first assignment for Virat Kohli and his boys, in the second cycle of the World Test Championship (WTC).

Rishabh Pant was last seen in action during the summit clash of the World Test Championship (WTC) that took place between India and New Zealand. In the two innings that he batted in the match, Pant scored 4 and 41. New Zealand thrashed the Virat Kohli-led Indian side by 8 wickets to emerge as the champions of the inaugural World Test Championship (WTC).
