'Give him an extra over, kya hi pata chalega?' - Twitter comes up with hilarious jokes after three players wear Arshdeep Singh's jersey

India suffered a defeat at the hands of the West Indies in the second T20I at Warner Park in St.Kitts and one fascinating thing that took place during the game was Arshdeep Singh’s jersey. As many as three cricketers on the Indian side were caught up wearing a jersey with the same name ‘Arshdeep’ on it and it did bring a lot of confusion. Suryakumar Yadav and Avesh Khan were the other two who were spotted wearing the jersey.

While the exact reason hasn’t been revealed, logistics issues might have come to the fore as there were similar issues in the previous series as well. Deepak Hooda was spotted wearing Prasidh Krishna’s jersey during the ODI series but the name was taped. The exact reason for Hooda wearing Krishna’s jersey wasn’t known however but certainly, this is expected to be one of the problems in the future.

Delay in the arrival of Team Luggage in St.Kitts

Ahead of the start of the second T20I between India and the West Indies, there was a delay in the arrival of the team luggage from Trinidad to St.Kitts. Subsequently, the start of the game was delayed by three hours and West Indies ended up on the winning side in the second T20I to level the series 1-1. Due to the delay in the start of the second game, the third game had to be pushed to a delayed start to provide ample time for recovery and Cricket West Indies confirmed the rescheduled time.

Coming back to the jersey, the fans seemed to have speculated that the delay in the arrival of baggage would have led to Arshdeep lending his jersey to Suryakumar. In fact, Avesh who picked up the big wicket of Brandon King in the second innings with a sheering yorker was spotted celebrating with Arshdeep’s jersey. Meanwhile, the fans came up with hilarious tweets over Arshdeep Singh’s jersey coming to the fore multiple times while the Indian team was on the field.
