'God should bless them with some sense' - Manoj Tiwary blasts Pakistan cricketers for their recent comments

Veteran cricketer Manoj Tiwary took to Instagram to criticize former Pakistan cricketers Salman Butt, Shoaib Akhtar and Waqar Younis. The Instagram post included comments by the aforementioned cricketers criticizing Indian cricketers. The Pakistani cricketers are of late busy criticizing BCCI and the cricketers from the neighboring country.

Tiwary is very active on social media. He often shares his photos and videos of him playing or having quality time with family. The cricketer from West Bengal has played 12 ODIs and 3 T20Is for India. It is often said that looking at his performance in domestic cricket, he has underachieved in the international circuit.

The statements made by Pakistan cricketers

Shoaib Akhtar, the former fast bowler has a YouTube channel of his own, where he can be seen sharing his thoughts about the Indian team and various other teams in action. He is often criticized for centralizing his content towards Indians because it grabs more attention. The Rawalpindi express criticized former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh by comparing the ‘Monkey gate’ incident involving Bhajji with the ‘ball-tampering saga’ involving Australian cricketers Steve Smith and David Warner.

The Pakistani cricketer also criticized BCCI and ICC by commenting on the postponement of T20 World Cup. According to him, as BCCI is the richest body in cricket, they have played a role in postponing the T20 event. As per him, organizing IPL was given more importance as compared to the World event.

Tiwary who has played for four different IPL teams blasted Salman Butt as well on his comments about England cricketer Jofra Archer. The Pakistani opener said, ‘Archer shouldn’t have broken bio-security rules’. Former Pakistan captain, who was banned from international cricket for his involvement in spot-fixing in 2010, was trolled heavily on social media after he said that England fast bowler shouldn’t have broken bio-security rules.

The cricketer, also condemned former Pakistan cricketer Waqar Younis when he compared Virat Kohli’s fitness with Pakistan’s cricketers. The Indian skipper is famous for his fitness and the Pakistan team was heavily trolled last year after their poor performance against India. In a World Cup match between the neighbours, Pakistan’s skipper was found yawning on the field.
