Koffee with Karan is a talk show where the host Karan Johar tries to touch upon the personal and private lives of celebrities. The popular figures, though, often try to duck the tricky questions with some witty answers. But, that wasn’t the case when Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul became the first ever cricketers to be invited on the show.

As the format of the show goes, the Bollywood director and producer did ask the duo some intimate questions. However, both of them ended up being too much straight forward and didn’t mind passing some comments which the audience eventually found offensive. There were some remarks about women passed by the cricketers which didn’t go down well with the fans.

Hardik Pandya issues an apology; suspension on the cards

On one of the instances, Hardik Pandya, while talking about how cool his family is, went completely out of control. He said that he told his parents openly about losing his virginity and shared a few other private details. Also, both these cricketers choosing Virat Kohli over Sachin Tendulkar without a second thought further irked the fans.

After the negativity that he received, the all-rounder also issued an apology for his comments. He said that he got carried away with the format of the show and sought forgiveness. However, the COA that runs the BCCI is now pondering over suspending these two cricketers and is also deliberating over having an official enquiry.
