Team Pakistan extended their dominating run in Zimbabwe with a thundering performance in the final ODI of the tour. They posted a mammoth 364/4 on the board for the hosts to chase in the final game. After the batsmen made merry, the onus was on the bowlers to take over. While the bowlers struggled to get their act together as a unit, Hasan Ali had a proud moment in the game.

The premier Pakistani pacer cleaned up the opposition skipper with a brilliant delivery in the game. He managed to dismantle the off and the middle stump of Hamilton Masakadza in the game. It was an absolute peach delivery from Hasan Ali in the 15th over of the run chase. Usually, whenever Hasan takes up a wicket, he goes for his signature celebratory move.

His signature celebration move is very popular among the cricket fans and is known as the ‘bomb explosion’ move in the cricketing world. When he dismissed Masakadza in the game, the expectations were set right that he would go for his celebration.

However, the pacer chose not to celebrate. Last time around, during the fourth ODI, he had almost injured himself while trying to celebrate a wicket with the same move. He was seen in serious pain and needed medical assistance back then. Apparently, he had pulled up a muscle in his neck whilst trying to do the same.

Hence, this time around, a very cautious Hasan Ali came up with an alternative to his celebratory move. Soon after he took the wicket, he called his teammate Shadab Khan. Shadab obliged and stood right next to Hasan. Hasan ordered Shadab to do the move and it was Shadab Khan who completed the ‘explosion’. The players were all smiles after the entire episode that unfolded at the venue. The dangerous looking Hamilton Masakadza had to head back to the pavilion with a score of 34 to his name.
