Virat Kohli is one of the best batsmen in the world at the moment. His consistency across the formats is unmatched and the fact that he has scored 70 international centuries is the testament to his greatness in the sport. His fan following is immense not only in India but also in other countries and Pakistan cricketer Hasan Ali‘s wife Samiya Arzoo is not an exception either.

Samiya is the Dubai-based Indian girl who got married to Hasan Ali on August 20 last year. She is a flight engineer with Emirates Airlines while her family is settled in New Delhi. She met the fast bowler in Dubai approximately a couple of years ago in the city and the friendship grew since then. Eventually, they fell in love with each other and got hitched last year.

With Coronavirus forcing everyone to be in lockdown, Samiya Arzoo decided to interact with her followers on Instagram using the ‘Ask me Anything’ feature. One of the fans proceeded to ask her about her favourite batsman while also presuming that her favourite bowler would obviously be her husband Hasan Ali. To it, Samiya was quick to respond and pick India’s skipper Virat Kohli as her favourite batsman.

Virat Kohli in quarantine with his wife Anushka Sharma

Meanwhile, like every other cricketer, Virat Kohli is also in quarantine at his home with his wife and Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma. India is under lockdown at the moment until April 15 due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the celebrity couple has done its bit to create awareness amongst their fans. Time and again, Virat and Anushka have urged people to stay in their homes and not come out during these troubled times.

On the other hand, the situation is similar in Pakistan though the country is not completely under lockdown. More than 1000 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered in the country and it goes without saying that the Pakistan cricketers are also helping the needy people. Even the Indian players like MS Dhoni, Sourav Ganguly, Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan have lent their helping hands for poor people.
