Gautam Gambhir is always known to speak his mind and is not the one who minces words. May it be on the field or off the field, the left-handed batsman always expressed his views clearly and was vocal about the recent dastard attack on the Indian CRPF soldiers in Pulwama. Soon after the attack, he claimed that the conversation with Pakistan won’t be on the table now and it will only be on the battlefield.

The dastardly attack by the terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed claimed the lives of 40-odd soldiers and many are injured very badly. All the major countries have condemned it while the after-effects of the same in India is already visible. DSport has stopped telecasting the Pakistan Super League (PSL) while the leading cricket websites in India have also stopped covering the tournament protesting the attacks.

“Yes, let’s talk with the separatists. Yes, let’s talk with Pakistan. But this time conversation can’t be on the table, it has to be in a battleground. Enough is enough. 18 CRPF personnel killed in IED blast on Srinagar-Jammu highway,” Gambhir wrote in his tweets on Thursday.

We will finish it

On Sunday, Gautam Gambhir came up with another tweet and this time it was for the Indian Army. He is still filled with anger over the attack and has opened up even before on the Kashmir issue. The former Indian cricketer was also at the loggerheads against Shahid Afridi not long ago over the sensitive Kashmir matter.

In his tweet, Gambhir mentioned that the war wasn’t started by the Indian Army but they will definitely finish it this time and he is with them rubbing the shoulders. “Indian Army ने यह जंग भी शुरू नहीं करी but they will bloody well finish it and I am with them emotion-to-emotion, shoulder-to-shoulder,” his tweet read.
