West Indies emerged as the champions of the ICC U19 World Cup 2016 after they successfully chased the total of 146 runs against India, in a heartbreaking final, in which West Indies player Keacy Carty was named as Man of the Match for his patient knock of 52* runs. Mehedi Hasan Miraz from Bangladesh was chosen as the Player of the tournament for his outstanding all-round performance in the tournament.
