Windies will take on Pakistan in the match 2 of the ongoing World Cup 2019 at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham. With the flat pitch and small ground on offer, it is expected to be a high-scoring encounter and the Caribbean boys would be more to take the field and smash the ball to all the parts of the ground. The Men in Green, however, should come out with a plan in order to arrest their 10-match (completed matches) losing streak in the format.

Andre Russell returns to the Windies setup and despite last playing an ODI in the Maroon jersey in July 2018, he will walk into the playing XI. His knee seems to be fine now while Shannon Gabriel, Kemar Roach and Sheldon Cottrell are expected to form the pace attack along with Jason Holder. For Pakistan, Mohammad Amir is doubtful for this game while Wahab Riaz, who was a last minute inclusion in the World Cup squad, might play his first ODI since the Champions Trophy 2017.

Here we bring you the Dream11 Fantasy team based on the stats of the players:

Wicketkeepers:

Shai Hope, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Nicolas Pooran are the players available in this category. It is unclear if Pooran will get a go in the XI. Among the two, Shai Hope is going through a purple patch and moreover, bats at number three. He is available for 9.5 credits and could be picked. In case of Sarfaraz, he bats too low and might not be as effective in giving points.

Batsmen:

Chris Gayle is averaging a staggering 99.40 in his last five ODI innings and is a must in your fantasy team. He has also warmed up nicely with a short but blistering knock against New Zealand. Along with him, Babar Azam should also be picked as he is good form and also has a brilliant record against the Windies. Pakistan openers, Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman, both make it based on their current form. Fakhar makes it more because of his aggressive batting and is a better pick as credits are available.

All-Rounders:

There are some quality players in this category. Andre Russell walks into any fantasy team on form while Imad Wasim can also be a decent pick. Though at the moment, it looks like he won’t get a chance to play in the XI, the left-hander will make an impact if he plays. There could be toss-up between Mohammad Hafeez and Jason Holder. But with the former batting at four most probably and also bowls a few overs, he should be preferred. And he averages better than Holder as well.

Bowlers:

Oshane Thomas has picked 12 wickets in his last five ODIs but he might not play this game with the other three pacers likely to get a nod. Shannon Gabriel, Shaheen Afridi and Ashley Nurse look the best picks purely based on statistics.
