South Africa, who registered their first win of the tournament just a few days ago, will face an unbeaten New Zealand in their next encounter. In this match, that will take place at Edgbaston, both the teams will push hard for another two points under their belt. More than the Kiwis, a win here is more important for the Proteas.

The points table is still quite tight in the bottom half and two or three more wins on the trot should get South Africa into a good position. New Zealand, though, will want to regain the top spot in the points table which is currently occupied by Australia. For you Dream11 Fantasy fanatics, there are several 10-credit and 9-credit players from both the teams. Thus, numbers might come handy to help you make the right choices.

Here we bring to you the Dream11 Fantasy team based on the stats of the players:

Wicket-keepers

With two half-centuries in the last five ODI games, Quinton de Kock has looked good. He scored 186 runs at an average of 46.50 and also took six catches. You can also opt for Tom Latham in your eleven as the second keeper. While David Miller is another option that you’ve got, Latham has two fifties and even took ten catches. Thus, he is a better choice comparatively and even helps add balance to the side.

Batsmen

Ross Taylor’s average in the previous five outings is 88 and thus he is a must-have in the team. His numbers are better than anyone else in the last five games from both these teams. Hence, he can even be the captain of your team. The numbers of Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson are just as good and they can be the other two picks. From the South Africa team, Rassie van der Dussen has been the best and he can be the fourth pick in this category.

All Rounders

Since 28.5 credits are used up in the batsmen’s category, you’ve got to let James Neesham go from the all-rounders. However, you have got like-for-like picks available in the form of Andile Phehlukwayo and Chris Morris. Both these players have picked up seven wickets each and do a fair job with the bat as well. Since he contributes in all the three departments of the game, Morris can also be the vice-captain of your team.

Bowlers

Lockie Ferguson is in red-hot form and picked up a four-wicket haul in the last completed game against Afghanistan. Matt Henry and Imran Tahir also accounted for ten wickets each in the last five games. Henry and Ferguson come at just 8.5 credits each and are great additions to your team. Thus, these three can be slotted straight into your Dream11 Fantasy team and that will complete the XI.
