The third round of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 official fantasy had witnessed two games getting washed out among the five. The round began with a washout and also ended with one such result. The fourth round will have six matches to be played; the longest among the ten rounds in the official fantasy of the tournament. One of the notable facts from this round is two of the three completed ODIs had match aggregates well over 600 runs.

Here is our fantasy guide for the fourth round of the ICC World Cup 2019tournament contest:

(Can be played on ICC Cricket website)

Round 4 schedule –The fourth round comprises of the six (Match 16 to Match 22) games of the tournament. Australia and Sri Lanka will feature in two matches while the remaining eight teams play one game each during this round.

Wicket-Keepers:

Suggestions –Kusal Perera, Quinton de Kock, Shai Hope

Kusal Perera will be a no-brainer as Sri Lanka will play two games in this round. Shai Hope will play against England on what could be a track for the batsmen. Jos Buttler was seen struggling in the game against Bangladesh. Picking him might be a risky move if England decide to rest him.

Batsmen:

Suggestions –David Warner, Steve Smith, Jason Roy, Eoin Morgan, Babar Azam, Rohit Sharma, Fakhar Zaman

Alternatives –Ross Taylor, Imam-ul-Haq, Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, Joe Root

Economical Picks –Rassie van der Dussen, Dimuth Karunaratne

England matches in the tournament have been on batting friendly wickets which could continue when they face the Windies in Southampton. Another possible high-scoring game from this round is between Australia and Sri Lanka at Kennington Oval. A minimum of three batters have to be picked from either of the matches for using the Super Fours free-hit.

With India playing New Zealand at Trent Bridge, Rohit Sharma could well turn out to be the top performer. The Indian team vice-captain has been good at playing out the initial movement in the two matches. Trent Boult might not find enough swing in Nottingham like he did at The Oval. Virat Kohli has a splendid record against the Kiwis and will be a solid pick with the available credits favouring.

All-Rounders:

Suggestions –Shakib Al Hasan, Thisara Perera

Alternatives –Andile Phehlukwayo, Ben Stokes, Marcus Stoinis

Economical Picks –Mohammad Saifuddin, Chris Morris

Shakib Al Hasan has now hit fifties in his previous four ODI innings having not scored three on trot any time before. He is set for another big knock against Sri Lanka and also be seen picking few with the ball. Thisara Perera could be considered given Sri Lanka will be playing twice.

Bowlers:

Suggestions – Mitchell Starc, Lasith Malinga, Pat Cummins, Isuru Udana, Nathan Coulter-Nile

Alternatives –Jasprit Bumrah, Imran Tahir, Kagiso Rabada, Oshane Thomas, Lockie Ferguson

Economical Picks –Kuldeep Yadav, Shadab Khan

Considering the usage of the bowling machine free hit, it is ideal to fill bowlers from the Sri Lanka-Australia game. Since the teams will be playing twice in this round, picking them will be benefitting. Outside this game, Kuldeep Yadav could be the difference between India and New Zealand. The Blackcaps batsmen struggled against the chinaman but his position in the team is doubtful after the game against Australia.

Suggested Playing XI No. 1 for Official Fantasy:

Wicket-keepers: Kusal Perera (VC)

Batsmen: David Warner, Steve Smith, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman

All-Rounders: Shakib Al Hasan (C), Thisara Perera

Bowlers: Lasith Malinga, Isuru Udana, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc.

Captain and Vice-Captain Selection:

One among Shakib Al Hasan, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be ideal as captain for making use of the Star Skipper free hit. For vice-captain selection, one among Steve Smith and Kusal Perera can be picked. Smith has scored seven fifties in his last eight CWC innings while Perera has done well with bat recent times.

Free hit options:

Super Fours – ENGvWI or AUSvPAK

Bowling machine – AUSvSL

Star Skipper – INDvNZ (Rohit/Kohli) or BANvSL (Shakib)

Suggested Playing XI No. 2 for Official Fantasy:

Wicket-keepers: Shai Hope

Batsmen: Rohit Sharma (C), Chris Gayle, Eoin Morgan, Steve Smith (VC), Jason Roy

All-Rounders: Shakib Al Hasan

Bowlers: Lasith Malinga, Isuru Udana, Mitchell Starc, Nathan Coulter-Nile.
