Indian skipper Virat Kohli is known for his fitness regimes. He is one of the fittest sportspersons around in the country and is very strict about his workouts and diet. In fact, he has inspired an entire generation of cricketers with his impressive fitness regimes. Recently, he was also involved in a ‘1 Million Pushups’ program in association with Puma and One8 crew.
Taking inspiration from this, Indian Union Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs and Information and Broadcasting Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore started an online fitness campaign recently. #HumFitTohIndiaFit challenge was started by Mr Rathore and he challenged Virat Kohli to take the task up.
Virat Kohli accomplishes the challenge
On Wednesday, Virat Kohli completed the #HumFitTohIndiaFit challenge given to him by Mr Rathore. He posted a video of him doing 20 spider planks on Twitter. On completing his fitness task, Kohli nominated his wife Anushka Sharma, Indian wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the fitness challenge.
“I have accepted the #FitnessChallenge by @ra_THORe sir. Now I would like to challenge my wife @AnushkaSharma , our PM @narendramodi ji and @msdhoni Bhai for the same. #HumFitTohIndiaFit #ComeOutAndPlay,” Virat Kohli tweeted.

PM Narendra Modi was quick to respond to Virat Kohli’s challenge. He took no time to reply to Virat. Modi accepted the challenge and also said that he will share his fitness video soon. However, PM Modi as of now didn’t nominate anyone for the challenge. We might see him nominating a few people once he uploads the video of his Fitness Challenge.
Modi too is a fitness enthusiast. We often see him taking part in various Yoga events. It is a well-known fact that Mr Modi practices Yoga almost on a daily basis. He was also seen earlier taking part in the International Yoga Day event.
“Challenge accepted, Virat! I will be sharing my own #FitnessChallenge video soon. @imVkohli #HumFitTohIndiaFit,” PM Modi tweeted.
