India brought an end to their losing streak in T20Is against New Zealand which was the farewell game for India’s Ashish Nehra. New Zealand never looked in the tone to chase the big target during the first T20I and might be seen revamping their batting line-up for the next game to stay alive in the series.

Here we look at all the key stats and numbers ahead of the crucial game of the series.

1 – In the only T20I played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot between India and Australia, the home team successfully chased down the total of 201/7 with the help of Yuvraj Singh’s blitz.

199 – Number of fours Kohli has hit in T20I cricket so far. He needs one more four to become the 3rd player after Tillakaratne Dilshan and Mohammad Shahzad to hit 200 fours in T20Is.

6990 – Runs Kohli has scored in Twenty20 cricket so far. He needs 10 more runs to become the first Indian and 8th player overall to complete 7000 Twenty20 runs.

9949 – Number of runs Martin Guptill has to his name in International cricket so far. He needs 51 more runs to become the 7th New Zealand player with 10000 International runs.
