Indian players team up to urge the fans be a part of 'Team Mask Force'

The Coronavirus pandemic has led to the governments of respective countries taking extreme action to contain its spread. The virus has already killed more than 1.5 lakh people and more than 2 million cases have been registered across the world. The count is only increasing with every passing and even India is facing a similar problem. The Indian Government is also doing its best to spread the awareness about the virus and is taking help from the cricketers as well.

The government has launched Aaorgya Setu mobile application which gives necessary instructions about how to protect yourself from the Coronavirus. After sharing the location and necessary information, it also helps people know if they are safe in terms of getting affected from the virus.

Another important way to stay safe from COVID-19 is the usage of mask on the mouth. And Aarogya Setu has given information about how prepare the mask at home so that people do not have to come out to buy it. And the Indian players, Men and Women, have joined hands to spared awareness about the same.

BCCI, on Saturday, shared a video, in which the current and former India cricketers are seen urging the citizens of the country to prepare effective masks at home and use it when they stroll out for any work to stay safe amid the Coronavirus fears. “You cheer for us with your family when we are on the field. And today I have come to talk to your family,” Virat Kohli says at the start of the video.

The likes of Sourav Ganguly, Smriti Mandhana, Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Harmanpreet Kaur, Mithali Raj, Harbhajan Singh, Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma follow the current Indian skipper in the video. Interestingly, all of them wear unique masks while spreading the message and urge people of India to be the part of the Team Mask Force.

The cricketing fraternity has been doing its bit during these tough times to help the country fight against the Coronavirus. A lot of Indian cricketers have come forward and donated to the PM CARES and the respective CM Relief Funds. They have also helped the poor and needy people who have are suffering due to the lockdown.
