The Australian team mate of Chris Gayle’s performance has been as shambolic as Gayle, which sums up RCB’s season this year. The Australian stalwart has failed both with the bat and with the ball this year. Having played 8 matches, his batting average is as low as a bowler, lower than even 12 runs per inning.

In 8 matches, he has managed to score only 71 runs. With the ball in hand, he has just picked up five wickets and leaked runs at over 9 runs per over. His numbers probably suggest that age has taken a toll on him. Though he wishes to continue playing IPL next year also, it is yet to be seen which team will like to invest in the old war horse from Australia after such a poor campaign.
