IPL 2018: David Warner calls Rashid Khan an absolute 'freak'

The Sunrisers Hyderabad have marched in to the finals of the IPL 2018 after beating the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Qualifier 2 in Kolkata. This is the second time the Orange Army will be playing the finals. The last time they did so was in 2016 when the emerged as the eventual champions under the leadership of David Warner. Warner is not a part of the SRH camp this season but he is certainly keeping a close eye on his side.

After the sensational win of the SRH team against the KKR outfit, David Warner took to the social media to hail one of the chief architects of the SRH win. Warner, in his post, hailed Rashid Khan as an absolute freak. He posted a picture of Rashid Khan and showered praises on him. Furthermore, he noted that he is very proud of the young superstar. He added that he cannot wait to see the Sunrisers take the field in the big finals of the season.

In the match, Rashid Khan was an unstoppable force. He was almost everywhere on the field. He pocketed two catches in the game and also inflicted a big run out. The bigger contribution was his bowling spell. In the four overs that he bowled, he returned with figures of 3/19 scalping the big wickets of Robin Uthappa, Chris Lynn, and Andre Russell.

Earlier in the game, he had bailed SRH out of trouble with the bat as well. Rashid smashed an unbeaten 34 off 10 balls during his stay at the crease. He hit sixes at will and ensured that his side posted a decent total on the board.
