IPL 2018: Dwayne Bravo exhibits great sportsmanship on the ground

The game between Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab was a cracker of a contest. This game marked many significant traits that would please the cricket fans. Firstly, MS Dhoni was back in good form and has smashed the bowlers all around the park. Secondly, Chris Gayle is back in the 11 and he looked in great touch. This is a huge matter of concern for all the other teams and they will have to be proactive to stop him.

Also, there was a great camaraderie on display between Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni. Yuvi went up to cheer MS when he was down with back pain and also congratulated MS at the end of the match. Furthermore, Yuvi looked in decent touch with the bat and also bowled an over. Of all these moments, one thing that stood out was the exhibition of friendship between Dwayne Bravo and Chris Gayle.

Batting first, Chris Gayle and KL Rahul got the team off to a great start. They consistently scored their runs at a run rate between 10 and 12. They smashed the Chennai Super Kings bowlers all around the ground. They’ve provided the team a great start which was also potentially a game changer. Their opening stand was the difference between both the sides.

However, Chennai made a great comeback in the last 10 overs to restrict Punjab for a score under 200. At one stage, they were looking all set to score something around 220 or 230.

While KXIP were batting, Chris Gayle shoelace had come off. Since he has the pads and gloves on, he couldn’t tie them by himself. Then, his West Indian teammate Dwayne Bravo came to the rescue. Bravo tied the shoelace of Chris Gayle and has also won many hearts with this gesture. The duo was seen exchanging a few positive words as well.
