The 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has successfully completed its fourth week. Some of the teams have got a decent break this week while the others were putting up with their busy schedule. This week has witnessed some great games and even better individual performances. Some of the players who did not have a good season thus far have found some good touch with the bat. Also, there were a few exceptional performances from the bowlers as well.

All the teams are battling hard to get a stronghold of a place in the top-four. But, just like any other week, this week has also left a few disappointments. Players who were expected to put up some big performances failed to deliver. They let their team as well as the fans down.

These big guns found it tough to get going in the fourth week of IPL:

Shikhar Dhawan has been a huge disappointment for the SRH. He has just about escaped making it to this embarrassing list all this while but not this time, Mr. Gabbar. In the absence of David Warner, Dhawan was expected to play a big role in the team. He did exactly that in the first game getting to 78. But, later he was injured while batting in a game. He has never got going ever since he has come back into the team after the injury.

In the next six games played, Shikhar only got 74 runs. Shikhar is trying really hard to go aggressive right at the top. It seems as if he is taking too much pressure on himself instead of settling down in the middle. A player of Shikhar’s calibre scoring just 152 runs in seven games is highly disappointing and hence he makes it to the list here.
