IPL 2018: Gayle slams yet another IPL ton, Danielle Wyatt absolutely loves it

Christopher Henry Gayle is a big name in the world cricket. However, in the recent times, many believed that his charm was on the diminishing verge. But in the recent innings that he played for the Kings XI Punjab, he proved that he is not getting old just yet. Gayle hammered an unbeaten 104 off just 63 deliveries in the game. The Twitter world went crazy about the knock and the English cricketer Danielle Wyatt was no exception.

Danielle Wyatt took to the social media platform to express her awe for the innings that Gayle played against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. She had quite a lot of emojis listed to show her excitement and thrill for the knock. She posted a tweet for Gayle as soon as the big Jamaican reached the coveted milestone. It is worth noting that this was the 6th IPL ton for Chris Gayle. He tops the list of cricketers with most IPL tons.

While Chris Gayle had a merry time with the bat on the day, there was another player in the opposition team who was taken to the cleaners in the innings. One of the mainstays of the Sunrisers Hyderabad bowling attack, Rashid Khan, became the prime target of the Gayle onslaught in the match. Gayle took special liking for his bowling and hammered him for six sixes in the game.

Four out of those six sixes came in a single over. Rashid finished with figures of 1/55 in his quota of four overs – the worst ever bowling figures for him in T20 cricket. Interestingly, in the recent times, the social media duel between Danielle Wyatt and Rashid Khan have been quite popular in the recent times. It will be worth watching if the premier England Women cricketer comes up with a message for Rashid after the game or not.
