Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have been on a roll in their last couple of matches courtesy their superb bowlers who have been so accurate. While the score of 118 was defended successfully by them against Mumbai Indians (MI), they made look 132 more than enough against the strong batting line-up of Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). In the era of cricket when the batsmen are dominating, these bowlers have stood up tall. Harbhajan Singh feels the same and has showered praise on them for winning the matches on their own.

The ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been unique given the quality of cricket being played. Almost every match is going until the last over with teams gunning down the totals of over 200 very easily. Recently, some of the low-scoring games have also been thrilling and two of them have been successfully defended by SRH. The likes of Siddarth Kaul, Basil Thampi and Sandeep Sharma have been performing well which has been a heartening sign for the Indian fans. Rashid Khan also has been excellent with his mystery leg-spin bowling.

Bhajji praises SRH bowlers

The batsmen of the Orange Army failed once again to post a decent total on the board against Kings XI in front of their crowd and managed only 132 in 20 overs. The pitch looked good to bat on and very few gave them the chance to defend them against Chris Gayle and KL Rahul. The duo started well again and added 55 runs for the opening wicket but once they were sent back, the bowlers of the home side pounced in big time and won the game.

It was a sensational collapse from Punjab as they were found wanting in front of a disciplined effort from the home side. Harbhajan Singh couldn’t stop himself from praising them after watching some terrific bowling. “Incredible bowling effort by @SunRisers back to back to defend small total @sandeep25a @sidkaul22 @rashidkhan_19 @Sah75official #Thampi … @IPL at its best.. one day 200 is not enough other day 130 is enough.. CRICKET IS TH WINNER,” he tweeted in joy.
