Harbhajan Singh is enjoying his time with his new franchise Chennai Super Kings and has already started the season with some decent performances. He didn’t play in the previous game against Rajasthan Royals and Karn Sharma was awarded a place in the XI. Nevertheless, Harbhajan can never remain far away from the on-field action.

We’ve witnessed some fantastic catches already this season from the likes of Hardik Pandya and Manish Pandey. The fielding levels have risen up so drastically in the last few years and clearly, no one is shy of throwing themselves to take a catch. Harbhajan gave his verdict on the best catch he’s seen this season and it’s one of his CSK teammates.

Shardul Thakur took an outstanding catch off his own bowling in the game against Rajasthan. He bowled a ferocious short delivery to Stuart Binny, who got himself in an awkward position and top-edged it. Thakur had to run a little more in his follow through, threw himself on the ball and took a one-handed blinder. The athleticism of the fast bowlers these days is thoroughly impressive.

“My favorite catch of this IPL 2018 season so far…well done Shardul Thakar, outstanding!” wrote Harbhajan on his official Twitter handle. He absolutely loved the effort from the young fast bowler and didn’t back off from heaping praises.

Next up for CSK is the Orange Army

The Chennai Super Kings pocketed a huge win against the Rajasthan Royals and they now travel down south to Hyderabad. The Sunrisers are coming off a disappointing performance, but they have a strong contingent who can challenge any side on their day. This will be a high-voltage clash and the viewers are guaranteed full entertainment.

The Super Kings will be wary of the brilliant bowling department the SRH has. They should try and counter-attack like Chris Gayle to stand a chance of winning this game. Considering a fact that it’s an evening game, we might see a lot of power-hitting and lots of runs from the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium.
