The Indian Premier League has reached its final stages and only four teams are in contention to lift the title. While IPL 11 was a breakthrough tournament for many players, a few of them could not deliver performances that were expected of them. Many youngsters got the opportunity to showcase their talent at the big stage while a few of them grabbed it with both hands.

The Mumbai Indians and the Delhi Daredevils did not come up with results that’s were expected of them. While individual performances have been good, they have failed to deliver collectively. Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant have been the two standout performers for their respective franchises.

Hardik Pandya is in the list for most wickets while Pant is one of the top scorers of the season. While the duo has performed well, their franchises have failed to make it to the playoffs. In the match between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils on Sunday, Pant looked in great form and was hitting the bowlers to all parts of the ground.

Handy knock of 64 runs

Pant was looking in good touch and was in no mood to stop. Pandya bowled the 16th over and pant started it with a six and two balls later he hit a four. The worst was yet to come for Pandya as Pant hit him for a one-handed six on the following delivery. Seeing his junior taking him to cleaners Pandya finally lost his cool and gave Pant an earful with an interesting expression on his face. Pant also did not refrain from giving it back to his senior.

Here’s the video of the incident:

Pant scored 64 off 44 balls with the help of four fours and as many sixes as Delhi posted 174 for four in the allotted 20 overs. The Mumbai batsmen made a mess of the target as they succumbed to Delhi’s leg spinners and knocked themselves out of the tournament.
