The second match on Sunday in the Indian Premier League took numerous turns as the winner eventually was decided in the last over. Mumbai Indians yet again stood on the losing side, their 4th loss in 5 matches and interestingly, all of them came in the last over.

However, it was the penultimate over of the match bowled by Jasprit Bumrah made the match wide open as all-rounder Krishnappa Gowtham pummeled the bowler for 18 runs. Jasprit Bumrah bowled a no-ball in the over which helped Rajasthan Royal get an extra delivery, which eventually cost them four runs.

Notably, Bumrah had bowled a no-ball in the finals of the Champions Trophy last year and was criticized heavily on the social media.

Earlier, after a slow start, Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan’s half-centuries had helped Mumbai post a competitive total batting first.

Mumbai Indians pulled out a dramatic victory in the final over defending just 128 runs against Rising Pune Supergiants. The Aunty’s pictures of praying for the victory went viral on social media and it was found out that she was nothing but mother of the owner of the IPL franchise.

Purnima Dalal, Nita Ambani’s mother made a return during yesterday’s encounter between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals and became a social media hit again when she was seen nervous after the no-ball bowled by Bumrah in the 19th over of the match.

Gowtham thumps MI
