Deepak Hooda was celebrating his 19th birthday on the 19th April, the same day when his Sunrisers Hyderabad side bowed down to the brilliance of the Universe Boss Chris Gayle. Gayle’s scintillating 6th IPL hundred helped Punjab demolish the unbeaten side in the tournament by 15 runs and they now are in the top 4 in a commanding position.

The Hyderabad batters got trolled very badly for their bad performance during the run chase. Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey stitched a decent partnership, but they never caught up with the required rate and eventually were at the receiving end of some very harsh trolling. The latest to add to the list of trolls is Deepak Hooda, who got trolled badly by Kings XI Punjab’s official Twitter handle.

Deepak Hooda posted a tweet before the game taking a dig at the Punjab franchise. After thanking the franchise for his birthday celebrations, he took a subtle dig at them. His tweet read, “Really thanks Kings XI Punjab… hope u get unaffected in the next match with us best of luck to you guys.”

The Kings XI Punjab’s official Twitter handle didn’t spare Hooda and trolled him with this incredible reply. Their tweet read, “Wishing you a very happy birthday, Deepak Hooda. May you remain unaffected by the Gaylestorm.”

A tough road ahead for the Sunrisers

After this disappointing defeat, the Sunrisers next will next face the Chennai Super Kings in Hyderabad. This game will be a huge test for the Orange Army as the Super Kings have commenced the season with a few decent performances are currently standing fourth on the points table with 4 points in 3 games.

Barring that heart-breaking defeat to the Kings XI Punjab, they got all the boxes ticketed and the Sunrisers should be at their best in every department. Despite watching his bowling unit get hammered, skipper Kane Williamson will be wary of a fact that one bad game doesn’t determine how good/bad a side can be and he might be sticking with the same XI for a few more games.
