IPL 2018: Kolkata Knight Riders – Approaching Milestones

Kolkata Knight Riders, one of the three teams to win the IPL title twice, have concentrated on building the squad for the next few years. The franchise roped in young Indian talents who were a part of the recent Under-19 CWC winning campaign. The team management decided to regroup with their previous overseas stars Chris Lynn, Sunil Narine and Andre Russell. The team will be playing under the leadership of Dinesh Karthik who made an exceptional comeback to the national squad.

All the approaching milestones of the KKR players to be looked out ahead of the IPL 2018:

IPL career milestones:

90 – Number of dismissals as wicketkeeper for Robin Uthappa in the IPL. He needs to affect ten more dismissals for becoming the 3rd wicketkeeper with 100 IPL dismissals. Uthappa (49 dismissals) needs one more dismissal for becoming the first KKR keeper with 50 IPL dismissals.

149 – Number of appearances Robin Uthappa has made in the IPL so far. He needs to feature in one more game for completing 150 matches as a player in the league.

286 – Number of fours Dinesh Karthik hit in the IPL so far. He needs 14 more fours for completing 300 fours in the league. Karthik hit 448 in all T20 games and need two more fours to reach 450 fours in the format.

1806 – Runs Robin Uthappa scored in the IPL while playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders. He needs 194 more runs to complete 2000 IPL runs for KKR.

2903 – Dinesh Karthik scored 2903 runs in the IPL so far. He needs 97 more runs for completing 3000 runs in the tournament.

Twenty20 career milestones:

143 – Cameron Delport needs to hit seven more maximums in the Twenty20s for completing 150 sixes.

193 – Piyush Chawla made 193 appearances in the Twenty20 format. He needs to feature in seven more T20s for completing 200 games as a player in this format.

241 – Number of sixes Andre Russell hit in the T20 cricket so far. He needs to hit nine more sixes for completing 250 maximums in the shortest format.

2890 – Runs Chris Lynn scored in the Twenty20 format so far. He needs 110 more runs for completing 3000 runs in T20 cricket. Lynn (6719 runs) needs 281 more runs for completing 7000 runs across all formats.

Professional career milestones:

99 – Cameron Delport bagged 99 wickets in his professional career so far. He needs one more wicket for completing 100 wickets across all formats and two more wickets to complete 50 wickets in the Twenty20 format.

1972 – Tom Curran need to score 28 more runs for completing 2000 runs in his professional career.

19783 – Runs Dinesh Karthik aggregated across all the formats in his career. He needs 217 more runs for completing 20000 runs in professional cricket.
