Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) side is currently in a happy space after winning two out of three matches so far in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). The team is being led by the new captain R Ashwin and they have formed a decent squad this year to go the distance. Their opener KL Rahul has been in great form of late and has provided his team with a blistering starts so far. However, he is celebrating his 26th birthday today and the team has ordered a special cake for him which is hilarious.

Rahul has been on top of his game in the recent times and began the season by shattering the records in the IPL. He smacked the fastest fifty in the history of the cash-rich league to set the ball rolling for his team and has carried on with the same form in the next couple of matches as well. He would be itching to continue in the same vein for the rest of the season as well and hope that he gives himself a birthday gift by playing a match-winning knock for his team in their next game.

How did they celebrate?

KXIP players are currently in Mohali and were set to celebrate the birthday of the KL Rahul. But Chris Gayle who is known to be at the centre stage of every occasion put his head from below the table which viewed as a cake as everyone burst into the laughter. Yuvraj Singh updated the video of the same in his latest Instagram story on Wednesday and the fans are absolutely loving the humour of the Caribbean cricketer.

Kings XI are set to face the table-toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on April 19 at PCA IS Bindra Stadium as they will aim to hand them their first defeat of the season.
